Attempted to install open comment and it appeared to install ok, but when I go to Components > Open Comment > Edit settings it shows the following errors..

I enabled the module, installed everything correctly (i think). What am I missing?

In backend I get the same error too, in frontend I get a popup with the error, Walter if you need admin access let me know

really I have no idea on that one...
Can I give ya admin access to check it out? I've only been playing with Joomla for about a week so I'd imagine it's something I did if you have no idea. Thanks!! |

Exact same problem here as well. If the information helps, I previously had Akocomment Plus installed; I uninstalled the com and deleted the mod. Then I installed OpenComment3.0.14.

Same here. I removed that and also removed the changes to the index.php file, same problem though.

The 3.0.15 is in development queue... and will be release tonight (in less than 3 hours)

OPEN: Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource I can not reproduce it on XAMPP 1.5.4a ( Apache 2.2.3 - MySQL 5.0.24a - PHP 5.1.6 & PHP 4.4.4 ) with following PHP settings: safe_mode = On register_globals = Off and Joomla! define( 'RG_EMULATION', 0 ); (from globals.php) ?? 3.0.15 is available, but should not corrcet that issue as I do not have change anything related to the admin panel |
